Who We Are

The K7KGM membership is a diverse group of individuals dedicated to preserving the use of Morse Code in Amateur Radio.

K7KGM is a learning and teaching club as well. Introducing operators, new and old, into the world of Morse Code (aka CW) is one of our primary goals. The CW proficiency of our members ranges from who are just learning Morse Code, to those who converse in CW as easily and fluently as most people can speak with their voice.

There is, however, more to this organization than Morse Code. Collectively and individually, K7KGM members are builders. In addition to club projects, individual members have many projects of their own, everything from simple direct conversion receivers, Morse Keys and Keyers, to antennas, and complete transceivers.
